About Us

Terri is the principal and President of Goodman Gravley Insurance Source, an independent insurance agency. Terri purchased the agency in May of 1994 and since that time, we have aggressively grown the agency more than tenfold, with premiums exceeding $17 million and 20 team members. During these years Terri has served on several Agency Advisory Councils for national companies such as Safeco Insurance, Ohio Casualty, and Progressive. Terri has also served on the Mid America Nazarene University Foundation Board, committees for TLC Children and families, Inc. and serves on the Board of Directors for First Federal Saving & Loan Assn.

Our agency and its key personnel have been active members of the Olathe Chamber of Commerce for more than 17 years, and attribute much of the agency‘s success to the Olathe Chamber and the networking functions provided throughout the years. In addition to our main office in Olathe, we have an additional office in Laurie, MO that focuses on personal and commercial business in and around the Lake of the Ozarks.

The goal of the Agency is to be one of the largest independent agencies in southern Johnson County, provide excellent customer service, be a great place to work and most importantly develop relationships with their customers and community.

Andy has over 20 years of commercial property and casualty experience. At Goodman Gravley his primary focus has been working with dentists and dental practices throughout Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Colorado as part of a national insurance program. In 2023 he transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer where he will oversee agency operations, sales, and carrier relationships.

Previous to Goodman Gravley, Andy worked for one of the world’s largest insurance brokers as a producer and a sales team leader. Andy gained substantial national account experience working with some of the most recognizable names in the franchise, trade association and membership space.

Patrick is a licensed Property & Casualty Producer who writes both Personal and Commercial lines of insurance.   Patrick joined the Goodman Gravley team in May of 2023, and he takes pride in finding his clients tailored solutions that fit their needs.  Prior to joining Goodman Gravely, Patrick spent two decades in the residential and commercial lending and loan servicing industry with roles in mortgage origination and loss mitigation management.  Leveraging his sales and real estate lending experience, Patrick made a seamless transition to the insurance industry in 2022.  

Patrick is an Iowa native, and graduate of Iowa State University and he has called Kansas City his home since the late 90’s.  When he’s not immersed in insurance matters, you’ll find him cheering on his kids at their sporting events or out bass fishing at area lakes.     

Heidi’s career started in college while at Kansas State University. She worked for an independent agency in Manhattan, KS before moving to Kansas City in 1997 to continue in insurance for Kansas Farm Bureau. From there Heidi went on to other independent agencies before joining Goodman Gravley Insurance as the Personal Lines Department Manager.  Heidi brings over 20 years of personal insurance experience, and enjoys working with her clients on their needs, going over their coverages and providing the best customer service possible. 

In her spare time, Heidi loves to shop and spend time with her husband and 2 children, Olivia and Drew.

Julie thrives on educating her clients about their insurance coverage and building strong relationships with them. She takes great pleasure in servicing and helping our clients maintain adequate insurance coverage. Her enthusiasm, communication and attention to detail show her commitment to building a great rapport and a trusting relationship with our clients! Celebrating more than 25 years in the insurance world, Julie has served in a number of roles before accepting a client manager position and becoming a licensed agent 30 years ago.

Candy started her insurance career in 2012 with State Farm in GA. After moving back home to Kansas City in 2015, Candy joined Goodman Gravley. Candy loves working with her clients, carriers, and teammates. She hopes with her enthusiasm and attention to detail she can improve the relationship between Goodman Gravley and her clients for years to come. Candy holds insurance licenses in property, casualty, life and health insurance.

When not working, Candy loves to spend time with her husband, son, and dog. Her family and church family are also a big part of her life. Candy enjoys supporting the Chiefs, Royals and Jayhawks!

Zach is a graduate of the University of Central Missouri and Goodman Gravley’s newest team member. He is focused on the Personal Lines department and learning the ropes of the independent insurance industry. In his free time, Zach likes to go on walks with his dog Goose and spending time with his girlfriend, Erin.

Toni has been in insurance for almost 40 years, starting as an insurance clerk assembling policies before moving into property and casualty on the personal lines side. Throughout the years, Toni has worked in customer service, underwriting, claims, and sales for various insurance companies.

In her spare time, Toni loves to go camping and watch the Chiefs. She is also an avid quilter. Toni enjoys spending time with her husband, son and three beautiful grandchildren.

Tonya began her insurance career 26 years ago with a direct writer in Leawood, KS, eventually moving to Glendale, Arizona as a Service Team Manager.  After three years in Glendale, she moved back to Missouri to be closer to family and expand her career and knowledge in the insurance world.  In December 2023, Tonya accepted a Personal Lines Account Manager position here at Goodman Gravley and is excited to work with multiple carriers and expand her insurance knowledge.  She enjoys working with internal and external clients, providing customer service and her product knowledge. 

In her spare time, she enjoys reading James Patterson mystery novels, crafting, and spending time with her 2 dogs, Delta Dawn and Bear, daughter Taylor, family, and friends.  Tonya enjoys watching the Chiefs, Royals and NASCAR races! 

Kim joined the Goodman Gravely Commercial team as an Account Manager in October of 2022.  Born and raised in Lawrence, and as a 3^rd and 4^th generation (Lawrence) Kansas resident, she continues to reside in Lawrence close to her parents, three grown children and their families.

Kim began her insurance career in 2000 with a foundation in home and auto insurance.  In 2015 she transitioned to a focus of Commercial and Business insurance as an Underwriting Assistant and later as an Account Manager for a large brokerage.  Her desire for a change of pace and to get back to working face to face with clients led to a move back to the retail agency side in 2015 where she remains today. 

With a background in Real Estate, Landlord and Property Management, Kim has served on many non-profit, city and other boards such as Douglas County Habitat for Humanity (President), Warm Hearts, Lawrence Women’s Network and City of Lawrence Board of Zoning Appeals. She is also a member of Rotary and is a 2017 graduate of the Leadership Lawrence (Kansas Leadership Center) program. These experiences have given her a diverse and valuable knowledge towards understanding the needs of the clients that she serves. 

Currently, Kim enjoys quality time with her family and friends, attending church functions and home with her husband and dogs with a primary focus on living her best life.

Amber holds the CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation and is a 2001 graduate of Stephens College (Columbia, MO) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Amber has 10 years of experience in the Insurance Industry, all with Goodman Gravley Insurance Source.
In her role as Account Executive, Amber prides herself on quick responsiveness to customer questions, helping to navigate the world of commercial insurance for a range of small to large businesses. In her home-life, Amber enjoys cooking, reading, and attending Royals baseball games and Tiger football games with family and friends.

Lesli has spent over twenty-one years in the insurance industry. She spent half this time in claims, and the latter half working for independent Agencies. She is currently a proud member of our Commercial Lines Team, focusing on our franchise business.

On a personal note, Lesli enjoys spending time with her family as well as cheering on all our Kansas City Hometown teams!

Cheryl is part of the Commercial Lines team, working with insurance partners to bring the most quality solutions to our clients.

She has 15 years professional experience in the insurance field. Prior to joining Goodman Gravley Insurance Source, she worked 6+ years as a commercial account manager for one of the largest insurance brokerage firms in the world. Cheryl earned her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation to better serve her clients.

Michelle joined Goodman Gravley Insurance Source in 2023 as an Account Manager with the Commercial Lines team.  She has 18 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry working on the retail agency side as well as underwriting.  Michelle also holds her CLCS (Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist) designation which has been a key to her success assisting clients with their commercial insurance needs.   

Michelle enjoys time with her family and her three awesome grandkids.  Some of her favorite things to do are baking, anything involving crafts, reading, going to the lake, traveling, watching her favorite sports teams (KC Royals, KC Chiefs, Sporting KC and KU Basketball), and last but not least, loving her little dog. 

Blake joined Goodman Gravley Insurance Source in 2022. His primary focus is working with dentists and dental practices as part of a national insurance program, Professional Protector Plan for Dentists. He takes pride in delivering insurance solutions with integrity and with the highest level of customer service to individuals and businesses. He has been in the financial industry since 2019. Blake and his wife Jenny live in Leawood, KS with their two children, Bradley and Grant. In his spare time Blake coaches both his boys’ basketball teams and he also enjoys fitness and cooking.

Devin began his insurance career in the Lawrence area in 2014. Throughout the years of experience in personal lines, Devin has gathered a strong understanding of many different insurance carriers and their coverages. Since joining the GGIS team he has brought an unparalleled service to his clients and enjoys educating them on any of their insurance needs. In his free time, Devin enjoys reading, swimming, and competing in local trivia.

Sara joined Goodman Gravley Insurance Source in 2022 after previously spending 12 years with a large insurance company as an in-house licensed agent. Prior to insurance, Sara served as the finance director for a United Way in Missouri for 18 years. Sara’s favorite hobbies include reading and spending time with her family.

Allison joined Goodman Gravley Insurance Source in January 2017 as the Accounting and Human Resource Manager. With over 10 years of accounting experience, Allison is excited to be part of the insurance industry.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, and cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas City Royals.
